FAQ

Welcome to our frequently asked questions section regarding roll-off dumpsters. Here you will find the most frequently asked questions about our company and services. This section also offers answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding the renting of dumpster containers.

How did you first begin renting dumpsters?

Rochester Dumpster Rental Team started as a cleaning service for elite restaurants, hotels, schools, and other enterprises. As the operation progressed, we observed that there was a dearth of dumpsters available for rental despite the high demand. We frequently find ourselves discarding trash and dumping it into overflowing dumpsters. We subsequently invested in trash rental services to suit our clients’ demands. After a few years, we began purchasing additional dumpsters to rent out to Rochester residents, businesses, and offices in need of waste collection services.

How does renting a dumpster work?

Renting a dumpster unit can sometimes be confusing. But with the right company, your application should move smoothly. You just need to contact the company and request for their service. They will then introduce their services, with the size and the type of dumpster you might need depending how much waste there is to take care of.

When will the dumpster get picked up?

This depends on the terms of your contract with the company. Since waste management, duration of service, and waste collection schedule will be discussed beforehand, the dumpster will be picked up (with or without trash inside) at the agreed-upon place and on the agreed-upon date, regardless of whether it contains garbage.

How did you start renting out dumpsters?

Our company initially started as a third party cleaning service for upscale restaurants, hotels, and schools. As the business progressed, we noticed that there was a lack of dumpsters for rent despite demand for it. We often find ourselves throwing out the trash and dumping them into overfilled dumpsters. Soon thereafter, we invested in dumpster rentals to meet our staffs’ needs. After a few years, we started purchasing dumpsters for us to rent out to other homeowners, establishments, and offices in need of waste removal.

Is It Possible That A Dumpster Could Damage My Driveway?

You can protect your driveway by laying plywood down so that the container can be placed on top of it. During the hot summer months, the weight of the container or the truck can leave indentations in asphalt driveways, which can lead to cracks. The best approach to protect your driveway from damage is to lay plywood over it.

What Is The Durability Of The Dumpster?

Depending on the dumpster company, this may or may not be the case. Depending on the company, they can be rented for as little as 5 days or as long as 30 days. The maximum rental period is 15 days.

What Dumpster Rental Do You Need?

As we serve many customers, we know that not everyone needs the same dumpster size. We offer a large selection of dumpster rentals for your project specifications.

If you’re a homeowner, then a 10-yard dumpster is great for spring cleaning. You might want a 20-yard dumpster for a larger home improvement project, while a 30-yard dumpster is ideal for complete home renovations.

If you’re a business owner, get a 10-yard dumpster for any small renovation project, a 20-yard dumpster for an office cleaning, or a 30-yard dumpster for a complete remodel.

If you’re a construction contractor, we recommend the 40-yard dumpster. This will help with demolition, roof replacement, or any large construction projects.

What Can We Do For You?

As part of our dumpster rental service, we deliver the dumpster to your location of choice, pick it up when you’re done, and get rid of all the accumulated waste. That means no hassles or inconveniences for you.

Do I need a licence?

Most cities require a permit if you want to put the bin on the street. Go to your city’s Public Works website to get a permit. If the bin is on your own land, you do not need a permit. But we need your signature in person or by fax to let you off the hook for any damage to property. Be aware that a 2 tonne bin that is empty and an 8 tonne bin that is full can easily crack your driveway. Plywood may help avoid damage. Our drivers won’t put a bin down where it could hurt someone or damage something.

Is there a correct way to put things in a dumpster?

The best way to fill a dumpster is evenly. This will let you put more trash inside and make sure you don’t fill the dumpster too much. Also, make sure that nothing sticks out of the sides or top of the container. This could make it dangerous for the hauler to pick up the dumpster. Please keep in mind that you may have to pay extra if your container is too full.

Should I be home when they deliver or pick up?

You don’t have to be there for the delivery or pickup. On the day of delivery and pickup, just make sure that the spot where you want the dumpster to go is clear and not blocked by cars or anything else that might get in the way. Please also make sure the dumpster is properly filled, with nothing sticking out of the top or hanging over the sides.
